Using the “SHD” Templates and “Samples” Templates

 

In this A2 Flash Tutorial you learn:

 

- how to use SHD templates; and

- how to modify an SHD Templates background.

 

What are the “SHD” and “Samples” Templates ?

 

They're of A2 Flash Templates equipped with background.

 

-          The “SHD” and “Samples” templates assist users who require instant and fantastic flash Photo_Gallery simply selecting the interest flash template in A2 Flash BuilderS

 

-          SHD Templates allow an immediate customization of the preset Backgrounds, thanks to the.Png file supplied

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 1

 

Launch A2 Flash BuilderS

 

Double click "A2Flash_BuilderS.jar".

 

- Click on one of the labels of the "SHD" or "Samples" (1).

- Click: "Select Template" (2) to choose the Flash Template you want to use.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 2

 

Show the Preview with the background

 

If you want see in "preview" the selected flash template with his background:

- Click on: "Options" (1)

- Activate the check and click on "Select .JPG" (2).

- Select the wished background from the SHD_Bkg folder

 

Note:

All the .JPG backgrounds of the "SHD" and "Samples" Templates are contained in the folder: "SHD_Bkg" (Program folder > folder: "SHD_Bkg")

 

NOTICE

The "SHD" related backgrounds are divided by series:

780_540   -   790_630   -  Sample_Bkg

Numbers e.g. 790_630 show the series and the format of the Swf Display

The final abbreviation e.g. 79_Chr_1 is related to the template with the same final abbreviation; for the background 79_Chr_1 the related template is: I_79_Chr_1

 

The abbreviations "I" and "G" distinguish templates in "Index" and "Gallery" according to their use

 

 

STEP 3

 

Add the options (transitions, effects, and more) you want

 

-          Click on the label: "Options" (1)

-          Select the wished options (2)

 

Create the .SWF file to load on the server with A2 Control Panel

 

- Click on the label: "Publish" (3)

- Click on the button "Preview" (4) to check your work

- Click on the button "Publish" (5) to create in a new folder your Photo-Gallery in .swf file

 

Now, Your Flash Photo-Gallery in .Swf file is ready to be uploaded on a web site

 

Note:

with the publication besides the Swf file to be uploaded on the server, others two files are created:

1 file containing the project of your Photo-Gallery and 1 debug file

PUBLISH ON-LINE THE TEMPLATE (.Swf File) OF NEW FLASH PHOTO-GALLERY

STEP 1a

 

Make the login to enter in A2 Flash Control Panel

 

-          Launch the browser and connect to the link supplied during the installation: www.yourdomain.com/a2flash/admin/login.php and make the login

 

 

STEP 2a

 

Make a new Category or select a Category

 

-          ATTENTION:

-          If you want replaced the already online Flash template (.Swf) of a category  it's important that the size of sWf Display, miniatures and images in the new Flash Template (.Swf) to be the same ones as Flash Template (.Swf) you want replace.

 

 

STEP 3a:

 

Upload the new Flash Template (.Swf) in the new Category or in the selected Category

 

-          In the A2 Flash Control Panel, in the Category panel: upload the .sfw file

-          Upload the new images in the new Category.

-          Now your new Photo-Gallery is displayed OnLine!

 

 

STEP 4a:

 

Upload the background (.Jpg / .Swf file) in the new Category or in the selected Category

 

-          From the A2 Flash Control Panel, in the Category panel: upload the related background file .Jpg (see: Step 2)

 

 

STEP 5a:

 

Upload the images (.Jpg files) in the new Category

 

-          From the A2 Flash Control Panel, in the “Add new photo” panel: upload the new images (.Jpg files)

 

-          Now your new Photo-Gallery is displayed OnLine!

MODIFY THE SUPPLIED BACKGROUNDS

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 

With a few simple steps, and some Photoshop knowledge, it is possible to create rapidly the completely different flash Photo-Gallery.

 

STEP 1b

 

In the software folder:

- Open the folder "Goodies"

- Open the folder: "Bkg"

- Open in Photoshop or similar the .png file which wants to modify (e.g. Album_3.png)

 

 

STEP 2b

 

- Colour, modify texts as you want

- Save the file for web from photoshop in .JPG format
